Astrology Elements

The Astrology elements are Fire which include the signs, Aries, Leo, Sagittarius; Earth which include the signs, Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn, Air which include the signs Gemini, Libra, Aquarius; and Water which include the signs Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces.

Fire signs are, well, fiery.  They are passionate carriers of the eternal flame.  Creative, Idealist and primal the fire signs inspire us to action.  They are charismatic, often dramatic and artistic beings who light up the world with their courage, vision and individuality.  This is an independent group, don’t fence them in.  Aries is the youngest of the fire signs and as such brings innocence and naivety to their creative visions.  They remind us what it is to see things with a fresh perspective, without pre-conceived notions and without cynicism.

Earth

This is a practical group of people that get things done extremely well.  They value solid foundations, structure and form.  If you want to build something from a business to a house, you want some earth signs involved.  They are very responsible action oriented often successful people.  They understand that you need a systematic plan that can be implemented and then they accomplish that plan step by step.  They are realists and like things that you can experience with your senses.

Air signs are friendly social creatures.  If there is a party, you will find air signs there.  They love to have fun.  Curious by nature they have great verbal skills and get be very humorous and the life of the party.  They love to gather information and they disseminate information.  They’ll spend hours communicating.  Easily bored, these signs love lots of stimulation and one to be where things are happening.  They are optimistic by nature and enjoy joining humanitarian groups.  They remind the rest of us that life is meant to be joyful.

Water The water element is the most emotional and intuitive of the elements.  The thing to remember with the water element is its changeable nature and various forms.  It can be a peaceful lake, a frozen mountaintop, steam from a kettle or a deadly storm.  The water elements are very deep, soulful signs and as such they can be very sensitive and often psychic.

The Fixed Signs are the great organizers of the zodiac.  They put the world in order.  They concentrate their energy on building solid foundation and maintaining them.  Sometimes more pragmatic than the Cardinal signs they follow, fixed signs have goals, see how to accomplish them and are not easily diverted from their path which some sometimes make them a bit stubborn and inflexible.  But they are responsible, devoted, loyal and patient people who are an asset to every team they are on.

The Mutable Signs are the great communicators of the zodiac.  They represent transition and are the most flexible of the signs.  Highly adaptable they embrace change.  They would much rather follow than lead but they are often the most verbal people in the room.  Able to see situations from many angles they are good problem solvers and detail oriented.  Sometimes they get so focused on the details that they forget about the big picture but that can be one of their most charming and endearing qualities.
